The ‘In de Graanmarkt’ lodge to undergo a makeover

Save for the woodwork, the restoration of this architectural vision (designed in 1922 by René Doom and J. Vermeersch) will leave the original building largely untouched. The project will involve altering the roof pitch to facilitate the creation of a stunning apartment with outdoor space and unique views of the Belfry of Roeselare. The roof tiles will also be replaced with resplendent, natural slate.

The addition of a fully-fledged staircase and lift shaft, coupled with the post-insulation of the historic facades, will enable this centrally-located building to serve as a commercial space on the ground and first floors, with 2 unique apartments on the upper floor.
